Jiri originally used this method with his old camera, he had his "long" 24-120mm lens and it was basically necessary to do that to get the face in the frame. With the new body and the 16-35 wide lens it's not necessary anymore, the wide view causes certain distortion (huge pussy in the foreground, small face in the background) and that is the effect Jiri wanted to achieve. The diagonal angle most likely would not improve it in any way, it might actually make it worse. But maybe Jiri will try to do it.
Love the new formate and lenses. Those diagonal views did nothing but distract and piss me off, so for me the less of those the better. Thanks.
