From time to time a customer contacts us because he thinks the downloading should be faster. We would like to emphasize that this is beyond our control. Our output speed and capacities of both servers are more than sufficient (and I have no doubts so are the customer's) but what happens between the server and the customer is beyond our (or his) control and there can be an obstacle anywhere on the route. If you're unhappy with the download speed you can always try to switch between the EU and US server in your profile.
What we however CAN change is the browsing experience. Due to the huge amount of database data (and people using parallel downloads) the site as such has been slower in the past few days so we have optimized database queries and moved some less important records and logs (not videos :-) to an archive. As a result the site is loading significantly faster now. Should you come across any issue (not related to speed - just in case something really doesn't work) please let me know immediately. I'm in my office 16 hours a day 7 days a week.
